El Ladron De Agua - Granada

Our room was so dark (it was at the back about 2 metres away from a very high wall) and the lighting was very poor so staying in the room was not very enjoyable.

Great location, modern facilities, very friendly and helpfull staff, and I liked the architecture and interior design of the hotel. It has a nice mix of modern and traditional. I wish the restaurant had been open for dinner.

The rear rooms are dark as the small window looks onto a wall. There is noise of footsteps from the room above.

The superb location in the Albayzin and the tranquil, art-filled shared spaces. The balcony overlooking the Darro and the Alhambra from our room was very enjoyable. The sound of trickling water can also be heard throughout the hotel, from both inside and out.

It is located on the main thoroughfare heading to and from the nightspots in the Sacromonte, so there are a lot of drunken revelers between 3am and 5am outside your window if you are facing the Darro. To me, it was worth it to have the great view and balcony; but more sensitive people should probably stay on the rear side of the hotel in a non-deluxe room or in the Generalife room on the third floor.

A small, excellent hotel within easy walking distance of the wonderful sights of Granada. Excellent rooms, library area, free computer and lovely toiletries. Perfect!

Difficult to find,but ok once found. would have been a problem trying to find by car.

This hotel was in a great location ... just on the edge of the touristy area and not too deep into the alleys can be confusing. The atmosphere of the place was lovely. The open courtyard, the library area with computer, the comfy beds.

Although the road by the hotel is quite small and only one-way, it can be quite busy and noisy (cobbly stones). The windows did a good job of blocking out the sound but a room off the back of the property would likely have been quieter. The sound proofing between rooms could have been better. Not only did we hear the alarms of our neighbour but also their coughs etc! It sounded like they were in bed with us!!!

The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Granada, close to La Alahambra and good restaurants and bars. The lady at reception (with brunette curly hair) was extremely helpful in booking our tickets to visit the Alahambra and explaining how to get there. They also had free internet (from a computer, not just wi fi) which was extremely useful. Would definitely stay there again! :)

The map on hotel's website was very misleading... We walked for over half an hour in blistering heat before being told where we had gone wrong and had to get a taxi back. Although the hotel was stylish, it was a little impersonal

Good atmosphere and interesting building. Effective air conditioning. Pleasant staff.

Very dirty rugs in an otherwise clean room. Staff pleasant but one receptionist to do everything - had a very long wait for an iron which delayed us going out for the evening. Had three irons but only one board. Very narrow road with no pavement leads to front door so need to beware of traffic when approaching.

The room was beautiful! Very comfortable. Amazing view of the Alhambra! Terrific location. Everything within walking distance including buses and taxis. The hotel was also very nice and safe, too. They locked the front door at night and a doorman had to let you in. When we first arrived, our room did not have a hydro message tub as indicated in my reservation. When I went to discuss this at the front desk, they explained that only two out of the three rooms with views in that price range had the tub and none were available. I asked that they reduce my rate. Instead, they upgraded us to a suite which I thought was very accommodating and the suite was amazing! Large, best view, comfortable beds...etc.

It was hit or miss at the front desk. One woman just wasn't very helpful about the area, getting a bus, where to go etc. Yet, another day, another staff person was very helpful. I recommend that they have more consistency with helpful suggestions. Also, maybe some pamphlets with information on buses, places to go, etc.

The hotel staff were extreely friendly and helpful. The hotel itself and the bedroom was immaculately clean. The beds and shower were great.

Excellent location. Right in the center of all attractions and at the foot of Alhambra. 10 mins walk to aeroport bus stop to the airport. Located at the beautiful street of Carrera Del Darro. If you like heritage style, this is the hotel. Hotel staff are very helpful and friendly. If you are visiting Alhambra, it's advisable to book throught the hotel and avoid the long queue at the booking counter. The tickets were sold out at 1pm for the day.

The room is a bit too dark, warm lights throughout. Everything are too woody and a bit too dim.

Hotel con diseño conjugado con las connotaciones histótico artisticas del lugar, tranquilo, encantador, dedicado a la estancia del poeta Juan Ramón Jiménez en Granada, por lo que sus habitaciones en lugar de tener numeración se describen con títulos de versos del poeta, su ubicación en el Pª de los Tristes y con vistas a parte de La Alhambra lo convierten en un lugar maravilloso y posee la magia que desprende la ciudad de Granada. Lo recomiendo a todas personas que quieran hacer un viaje intimista e inolvidable a Granada.
